The URL address on the address bar of your internet browser begins with "https"; where the letter "s" at the end of "https" means 'secured'.
Look for the padlock symbol either in the address bar or the status bar BUT not within the web page display area. Verify the security certificate by clicking on the padlock image.
Ensure that the address bar has turned to green indicating that the site is secure with an SSL that meets the Extended Validation Standard (supported in the IE7 and above, Mozilla Firefox 3.1 and above & Google Chrome).
Always type the address of the Prime Bank's website in the address bar of your browser or access it from the list of favorites you have stored. Do not access bank website through a link in an email or through another website.
Avoid accessing Internet Banking site through untrusted computers.
Use the Virtual Keypad for enhanced security to enter your Internet Banking passwords.
Keep your User ID and Password confidential and do not disclose it to anybody, At no point will Prime Bank require you to confirm / share your User ID or Password.
Change your Password as soon as you receive it by logging into your Internet Banking account. Memorize your Password, do not write it down anywhere.
Do cross check your last login information available on Internet Banking upon every login to ascertain your last login and monitor any unauthorized logins.
Always type in your Account Information using the virtual key board. Do not copy paste it.
When the transaction is complete, log out of internet banking and then close the browser. Do not directly close the browser.
Monitor your transactions regularly.
Any suspicious transactions should be immediately notified to customercare@primebank.co.ke or brought to the attention of your branch.
